Although we are not an animal "rescue", we have developed a reputation for taking in horses who are either unwanted or unable to be cared for. We rehabilitate them if necessary, either physically or mentally. then begin training to either integrate them into one of our programs or find them forever homes.
Here are their stories:
Trip is a paint gelding who we acquired after his owner could no longer care for him. He is currently in our lesson program until he finds his forever home. He came to us in healthy condition. He is lacking some knowledge under saddle and we are trying to fill in some of those hole for him. He is an excellent trail horse! He is currently available to the right home.
Lexi is a Morgan mare who we acquired when her owner fell on hard times. She came to us extremely overweight with sever anxiety. He weight is under control now and we are working on her confidence and education under saddle. She is currently not ready for a new home. With time she will gain confidence and be ready for her forever home.
Banker is a TB gelding who we acquired when he was in need a some help. He came in severely underweight and unsound. He is now healthy and happy. Best news is he has a new forever home with his owner and he is still in our barn!
Twizzler is a QH gelding who we acquired at a horse auction. He came to us with sever anxiety and trust issues. We worked with him on the ground and under tack. He has such a sweet soul he settled in quickly. He is now in a wonderful forever home in CT.
